Transparent AUD price list - Picasso Dental Clinic
Itemised Australian dollar dental prices at Picasso Dental Clinic Vietnam, including veneers, implants, crowns, All-on-X, orthodontics, diagnostics, hygiene, and common add-ons.
As of May 2026, an Emax Press porcelain veneer at Picasso Dental Clinic costs AUD 510 per tooth, a single Osstem implant combo costs AUD 1,415, and a Conebeam CT scan costs AUD 33. The clinic price list is published in AUD for Australian patients.
Prices are correct as at May 2026 and listed in AUD for Australian patient planning.
This page exists because dental tourism has a pricing problem. Too many patients see a low package price, book flights, then discover that scans, temporaries, grafting, material upgrades, extra teeth, or surgical complexity were not included.
Picasso’s approach is different. The clinic publishes the building blocks in Australian dollars so patients can compare treatment before they travel.
These are not package promises. They are itemised clinical price lines. Your final written quote may include one line or many lines, depending on what your photos, OPG, CBCT scan, and in-person examination show.
How to read this price list
Start with the treatment you are considering, then look for the items that commonly sit around it.
For example, a veneer case may include consultation, OPG, wax-up or mock-up, temporary work, and 8 to 16 veneer units. An implant case may include the implant combo, CBCT scan, bone grafting, sinus augmentation, blood tests, temporary restoration, or a staged second trip. An All-on-4 case may include the implant arch, prosthetic bridge choice, extractions, blood tests, and a review period before flying home.
The price per item is transparent. The total plan still needs clinical review.
Examination and imaging
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| General examination and consultation | AUD 12 |
| Children’s examination | Free |
| Orthodontic consultation | AUD 12 |
| Orthodontic treatment planning, mold, photos and X-ray | AUD 57 |
| Panoramic X-ray, OPG | AUD 18 |
| Cephalometric X-ray | AUD 18 |
| Orthodontic X-ray, OPG and Cephalo | AUD 33 |
| Conebeam CT, 3D | AUD 33 |
| iTero Digital Scan | AUD 113 |
The diagnostic prices matter because they make proper planning accessible. For implants, All-on-4, All-on-6, and complex full-mouth cases, CBCT planning is not an optional luxury. It is how the dentist assesses bone height, bone width, sinus position, and nerve position before surgery.
Veneers, inlays and onlays
| Service | Price | Warranty |
|---|---|---|
| Composite veneer | AUD 170 | 6 months |
| Porcelain inlay/onlay, Emax | AUD 283 | 5 years |
| Porcelain overlay/tabletop, Emax | AUD 396 | 5 years |
| Porcelain veneer, Emax Press | AUD 510 | 7 years |
| Porcelain veneer, Emax Press Plus | AUD 566 | 7 years |
| Non-prep veneer, Emax | AUD 622 | 7 years |
| Porcelain veneer, Lisi | AUD 679 | 7 years |
For a simple 10-tooth Emax Press veneer plan, the veneer units alone total AUD 5,100 before flights and accommodation. Australian private dentists typically quote AUD 15,000–25,000 for the same tooth count. The saving is why veneers are one of the most common treatments for Australians travelling to Vietnam.
The cheaper line is not always the right line. Composite veneers cost less and preserve more tooth in many small cases, but they stain and wear faster. Porcelain costs more upfront, but is usually the better long-term choice for a full smile makeover.
Read the full veneers guide before choosing a material.
Crowns and bridges, per unit
| Material | Price | Warranty |
|---|---|---|
| Porcelain fused to Titanium | AUD 283 | 5 years |
| Zirconia | AUD 396 | 5 years |
| CERCON HT / Ceramill Zolid | AUD 452 | 5–7 years |
| Emax | AUD 510 | 7 years |
| Lava | AUD 622 | 10 years |
| Lava Plus | AUD 679 | 10 years |
Crowns and bridge units are priced per tooth or per bridge unit. A three-unit bridge uses three units. Four crowns use four units. If an old crown needs removal, re-cementing, core build-up, or a post, those lines may also appear in the quote.
Crowns are not interchangeable with veneers. A crown covers the whole tooth and usually requires more preparation. It may be the right treatment for a heavily filled, cracked, or root-canal treated tooth. It should not be sold as a veneer shortcut.
Dental implant combo packages
Fixture, abutment and crown are included in these combo prices.
| Brand | Price |
|---|---|
| Osstem | AUD 1,415 |
| ETK | AUD 1,697 |
| Neodent | AUD 1,697 |
| SIC | AUD 1,697 |
| Nobel Biocare | AUD 2,262 |
| Straumann | AUD 2,262 |
| Straumann BLX | AUD 2,545 |
The implant brand should be stated in your written plan. Osstem is a common standard option. Nobel Biocare and Straumann are premium systems widely used in Australian clinics. Straumann BLX may be considered for certain immediate-loading protocols, depending on bone and case design.
For comparison, a single implant combo at an Australian private dental clinic typically costs AUD 4,500–7,000+.
Do not compare implant quotes unless you know whether the fixture, abutment, and crown are included. A cheap fixture-only quote can look better than it is.
Implant components
| Component | Price |
|---|---|
| Implant fixture, Osstem | AUD 1,018 |
| Implant fixture, ETK / Neodent | AUD 1,415 |
| Implant fixture, Nobel Biocare / Straumann | AUD 1,978 |
| Implant fixture, Straumann BLX | AUD 2,262 |
| Healing abutment, all brands | AUD 113 |
| Titanium abutment, Osstem / ETK / Neodent | AUD 170 |
| Titanium abutment, Nobel Biocare / Straumann | AUD 283 |
| Custom titanium abutment, Osstem / ETK / Neodent | AUD 283 |
| Custom titanium abutment, Nobel Biocare / Straumann | AUD 396 |
| Custom zirconia abutment, Osstem / ETK / Neodent | AUD 396 |
| Custom zirconia abutment, Nobel Biocare / Straumann | AUD 510 |
| Screw-retained crown on implant | AUD 566 |
| Implant removal, simple | AUD 113 |
| Implant removal, surgical | AUD 283 |
These component lines are useful when a case is not a simple combo. They may apply to staged work, custom abutments, replacement crowns, or complex rehabilitation.
Full-arch implant treatment
| System | Osstem | ETK / Neodent | Nobel / Straumann |
|---|---|---|---|
| All-on-4 | AUD 7,068 | AUD 8,481 | AUD 12,436 |
| All-on-5 | AUD 8,481 | AUD 10,181 | AUD 14,695 |
| All-on-6 | AUD 10,181 | AUD 11,880 | AUD 16,957 |
| All-on-X | AUD 11,315 | AUD 13,015 | AUD 18,089 |
| Prosthetic add-on | Price |
|---|---|
| Acrylic bridge on All-on-4/6/X | AUD 2,826 |
| Titanium full-arch bar | AUD 3,957 |
| BioHPP full-arch bar | AUD 3,957 |
| Overdenture | AUD 2,826 |
For comparison, All-on-4 at an Australian private dental clinic typically costs AUD 25,000–45,000 per arch. Full-arch treatment at Picasso needs careful planning. Ask whether the quote includes extractions, provisional teeth, final bridge, review appointments, and any lab upgrades. Also ask how long you need to remain in Vietnam after surgery before flying home.
Read All-on-4 and All-on-6 before comparing price alone.
Bone grafting and sinus augmentation
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Bone graft, autograft | AUD 566 |
| Bone graft, 0.25cc | AUD 226 |
| Bone graft, 0.5cc | AUD 283 |
| Bone graft, block | AUD 566 |
| Bio-Oss bone graft, 0.5cc | AUD 452 |
| Bio-Oss bone graft, block | AUD 849 |
| GBR collagen membrane, small | AUD 170 |
| GBR collagen membrane, medium | AUD 226 |
| GBR collagen membrane, large | AUD 340 |
| GBR Bio-Gide membrane, small | AUD 510 |
| GBR Bio-Gide membrane, medium | AUD 679 |
| GBR Bio-Gide membrane, large | AUD 849 |
| Sinus augmentation, closed | AUD 396 |
| Sinus augmentation, open | AUD 792 |
| PRP | AUD 57 |
| PRF | AUD 113 |
This is where implant quotes often change. A patient with enough bone may not need grafting. Another patient may need grafting before an implant can be safely placed. That decision should be explained from X-ray or CBCT evidence, not added as a surprise after you arrive.
Restorative, root canal and surgery
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Composite filling, small | AUD 23 |
| Composite filling, moderate | AUD 27 |
| Composite filling, large | AUD 39 |
| Composite filling, cervical/Class V | AUD 27 |
| Cosmetic composite filling, Class IV | AUD 57 |
| Tooth gap filling, per gap | AUD 113 |
| Root canal, incisor/canine | AUD 142 |
| Root canal, premolar | AUD 197 |
| Root canal, molar | AUD 283 |
| Root canal re-treatment, molar | AUD 312 |
| Permanent tooth extraction, simple | AUD 57 |
| Permanent tooth extraction, moderate | AUD 84 |
| Permanent tooth extraction, difficult | AUD 113 |
| Wisdom tooth extraction, simple | AUD 113 |
| Wisdom tooth extraction, moderate | AUD 226 |
| Wisdom tooth extraction, difficult | AUD 283 |
| Wisdom tooth extraction, near nerve | AUD 340 |
These procedures are usually not the main reason to fly from Australia. They are often part of a larger plan. A single filling or one simple root canal will rarely justify flights.
Whitening and hygiene
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Scaling and polishing, mild tartar | AUD 18 |
| Scaling and polishing, moderate tartar | AUD 23 |
| Scaling and polishing, heavy tartar | AUD 27–AUD 33 |
| Scaling under local anaesthetic | AUD 113 |
| At-home whitening kit, Zoom! / Opalescence | AUD 113 |
| Custom whitening tray, per tray | AUD 27 |
| In-office laser whitening, 1 jaw | AUD 197 |
| Zoom! whitening, full mouth | AUD 340 |
| Combo whitening package | AUD 396 |
| ICON white spot treatment | AUD 51–AUD 84 |
Whitening is often a useful add-on to veneer, crown, or implant planning. It is rarely worth a dedicated dental holiday on its own.
Orthodontics and Invisalign
Picasso is a Platinum Elite Invisalign Provider.
| Treatment | Price |
|---|---|
| Traditional metal braces, full course | AUD 1,358–AUD 2,601 |
| Self-ligating metal braces, full course | AUD 1,923–AUD 3,165 |
| Traditional ceramic braces, full course | AUD 2,035–AUD 3,278 |
| Self-ligating ceramic braces, full course | AUD 2,601–AUD 3,844 |
| ClinCheck planning fee | AUD 452 |
| Invisalign Essentials, 1 jaw / 2 jaws | AUD 1,978 / AUD 2,545 |
| Invisalign Express, 1 jaw / 2 jaws | AUD 2,262 / AUD 2,826 |
| Invisalign Lite, 1 jaw / 2 jaws | AUD 3,674 / AUD 4,523 |
| Invisalign Moderate, 1 jaw / 2 jaws | AUD 4,805 / AUD 5,938 |
| Invisalign Comprehensive, 3 years | AUD 7,351 |
| Invisalign Comprehensive, 5 years | AUD 8,481 |
| Invisalign First, children, Phase 1 or Phase 2 | AUD 3,957 |
For Australian patients, Invisalign needs honest planning. Shorter packages may work well if you can complete the setup and remote monitoring is suitable. Comprehensive multi-year cases may be more practical with a local orthodontic provider unless you return to Vietnam regularly.
Dentures
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Complete denture, hard plastic | AUD 452 |
| Complete denture, Biosoft flexible | AUD 566 |
| Temporary denture | AUD 283 |
| Titanium denture frame | AUD 170 |
| Acrylic false tooth, per tooth | AUD 27 |
| Denture reline | AUD 43 |
| Denture repair | AUD 57 |
Dentures often need adjustment after gums heal. If extractions are involved, ask how relines, temporary dentures, and follow-up timing are handled before you travel.
Example quote builds
These examples are not quotes. They show how line items combine.
| Example case | Likely Picasso AUD price lines |
|---|---|
| 10 Emax Press veneers | 10 × AUD 510 plus consultation and imaging if needed |
| Single Osstem implant | AUD 1,415 combo, plus CBCT, grafting only if required |
| All-on-4 Osstem arch | AUD 7,068 arch line, plus prosthetic and surgical add-ons as clinically required |
| Four Emax crowns | 4 × AUD 510 plus core build-up or posts if required |
| Zoom whitening add-on | AUD 340 full mouth, often bundled with cosmetic planning |
The honest break-even point for dental tourism is usually around AUD 3,400–4,250 of treatment. Below that, flights and time away can erase the saving. Flights from Sydney or Melbourne to Vietnam are typically AUD 600–1,200 return, depending on season and advance booking.
What your written quote includes
A written Picasso quote should make the plan understandable before you book flights.
It should include:
- Every tooth or unit line.
- Implant brand tier where implants are involved.
- Any grafting, scans, temporaries, blood tests, or prosthetic add-ons.
- Warranty term where the material has a published warranty.
- Estimated treatment timeline.
- Exclusions, such as flights, hotels, insurance, and unrelated medical costs.
If a line can change after an in-person exam, the quote should say why.
What is not included
The price list does not include:
- Flights.
- Hotels.
- Meals.
- Travel insurance.
- Visa costs where applicable.
- Companion travel.
- Lost wages or annual leave.
- Treatment by an Australian dentist before or after travel.
- Unrelated medical care.
- Private health fund gap amounts.
This is why the cost guide compares treatment plus travel, not clinic fees alone.
Before you rely on any price
Send six phone photos and an OPG if you have one. Picasso will return a written AUD plan that shows the actual treatment lines expected for your case.
You can then compare the clinic cost, travel cost, time away, warranty, and follow-up requirements before booking flights.

Frequently asked questions
Are these prices final?
They are the published clinic price lines. Your written quote confirms which lines apply after clinical review, because grafting, brand tier, tooth count, temporaries, scans, and materials can change the total.
When were these prices updated?
Prices are correct as at May 2026, converted to AUD at the May 2026 planning rate. AUD prices are refreshed quarterly.
Are prices in AUD?
Yes. This page displays prices in Australian dollars for Australian patient planning. The clinic confirms accepted payment methods in the written quote.
Does Picasso publish itemised prices?
Yes. The point of this page is to show each treatment line, not hide the cost behind a consultation-only quote.
Why can my final quote differ from this page?
A final plan depends on your X-rays, photos, gum health, bone volume, bite, tooth count, and material choice. A price line is fixed, but the number and type of lines in your plan can change after clinical review.
How do Picasso's AUD prices compare to Australian private dental fees?
Australian private dentists typically charge AUD 1,500–2,500 per Emax veneer and AUD 4,500–7,000+ per implant combo. Picasso's published AUD prices are AUD 510 per Emax veneer and AUD 1,415 for an Osstem implant combo, before travel costs.
