This website is operated primarily for Australian patients. Vietnam Dental Holiday acknowledges the principles of the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) as the framework guiding how personal and sensitive information submitted by Australian residents is handled. Health information (including dental photos, X-rays, and medical history) is treated as sensitive information under the APPs.
What information we collect
We may collect the following information when you use this website or contact us:
- Contact information: name, email address, phone number, and Australian city or state.

- Communications: messages sent by web form, email, or phone.
- Technical information: anonymised website usage data collected by Google Analytics, including pages visited, device type, browser, and referral source. This data does not identify you personally.

Who handles your data
Your information is handled by:
- Vietnam Dental Holiday (the website operator) — for initial enquiry coordination, quote management, and communication.
- Picasso Dental Clinic clinical staff — for clinical assessment of photos and X-rays, treatment planning, and direct patient care.
Your information is not sold or shared with any third party outside of this relationship, except where required by law.
Google Analytics collects anonymised site usage data under Google’s standard terms. No personally identifiable information is included in Google Analytics data.
Storage and security
Patient information, including clinical photos and X-rays submitted for assessment, is stored securely in Vietnam. Picasso Dental Clinic operates its clinical records systems from its Ho Chi Minh City headquarters. Access is restricted to clinical and coordination staff with a legitimate reason to review your file.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational controls to protect personal information. No web form, email, or messaging service is completely risk-free. Do not submit information through this website if you do not want Picasso staff in Vietnam to review it for quote or clinical purposes.
Retention of records
Patient clinical records — including photos, X-rays, treatment plans, and post-treatment records — are retained for a minimum of 7 years in accordance with Vietnamese dental regulatory requirements. This period may be longer where ongoing treatment, warranty, or legal requirements necessitate it.
If you make an enquiry but do not proceed with treatment, you may request deletion of non-clinical contact information by emailing [email protected].
Your privacy rights
As an Australian patient, you may:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or outdated information.
- Request deletion of information where retention is no longer required or legally mandated.
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking unsubscribe or emailing [email protected].
- Receive a copy of information you have provided, in a portable format where reasonably practicable.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line Privacy request and a description of your request.

If you have a concern about how your personal information has been handled, contact us first at [email protected] so we can investigate and respond.
